Is the festival free?
Yes. Entry to the Baleia Wellness Festival is free for everyone, made possible by our sponsors and partners. Please register anyway, so we know you're coming and can plan the activities.
When and where is the Baleia Wellness Festival?
The first edition takes place on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026 at Villa Lagoon in Praia da Baleia, Itapipoca, in the state of Ceará, Brazil.
What is on the programme?
Sunrise yoga on the lagoon, breathwork and meditation, functional training on the sand, kitesurf and wingfoil clinics, SEBRAE workshops, wellness talks, a conscious market with regional food, live painting, sunset sessions with live music, a bonfire and a DJ until 1 a.m. on both nights.
How do I get to Praia da Baleia?
By car it is about 175 km from Fortaleza and its international airport, roughly 2.5 hours via the new four-lane road towards Itapipoca. Buses run from Fortaleza to Itapipoca, which is 50 km from the beach. The festival team can arrange a taxi or a rental car.
Where can I stay?
Festival partner Baleia Lofts offers boutique lofts 60 m from the beach, for groups of up to 22 guests. There are also pousadas and holiday homes in and around the village. Book early, as rooms are limited around the festival.
Do I need kitesurf experience?
No. There are clinics for complete beginners as well as group sessions for experienced riders. Most yoga, breathwork and training sessions are open to every level.
Is the festival suitable for families?
Yes. The festival brings together athletes, families, people who love healthy living and the local community of Praia da Baleia.
